Alerts

In order to speed up problems detection, an alerting module is available within the Pubstack app.

With this feature, Pubstack will detect and notify publishers when a critical change of state happens.

Two key metrics are monitored to avoid any revenue loss and/or setup issues :

It can be triggered at different levels :

• Site / Site + Adunit / Site + Bidder / Site + Adunit + Bidder
• Adunit / Adunit + Bidder

Currently, the threshold are not customizable.

To avoid sending non relevant alerts , we define three threshold with different trigger :

• The variation is more than 75% and the drop of revenue is greater than 100€
• The variation is more than 95% and the drop is between 10€ and 100€
• The variation is more than 300% and the drop is less 10€

• 2. Bid rate 

Consists of limits, in our case limit is a bid rate = 0% for a specific site, bidder or adunit

Alerts are triggered when no bid responses on a minimum of 10k bid requests

How it works ?

Alerts are computed one time a day at midnight.

Example :

Data are computed on Thursday, so you’ll see abnormal behavior from Wednesday compared to Tuesday.

If alerts are notified, after clicking on it, you'll be redirected to the overview dashboard. Filters with alerts criteria will be maintain in order to give you easily detect the root cause.
