This article explains the bidder rules in Pubstack and the principal settings you can find on this rule
What is a bidder rule?
A bidder rule is a configuration or adjustment you apply to the bid from one or more bidders. It aims to define a list of bidders and their mediatypes you want to call on your stacks to manage inclusion/exclusion.
How to implement a bidder rule within Pubstack?
You can manage your bidder rules directly in the app:
https://app.pubstack.io/pbs/bidder-rules
Pubstack provides a default bidder rule named "All active bidders" to easily get you started. You cannot edit Pubstack default rule.
You can also create custom bidder rules by clicking on “New rule”.
Pubstack recommends choosing a self-explanatory rule name, which you can edit later on if required.
You can choose to add new bidders automatically to this rule when you create a new bidder seat on your integrations. This can help you if you want to save time.
You can search and select the bidders you want and activate the mediatypes for each bidder mapped. Mediatypes are displayed according to bidder compatibility.
Concerning mediatype activation, be sure to activate native and video settings only if you are able to manage the rendering of this kind of ads.
You can find a step by step Prebid documentation on native and video rendering.
For native: https://docs.prebid.org/prebid/native-implementation.html
For video: https://docs.prebid.org/dev-docs/show-outstream-video-ads.html
If you want to activate mediatypes on bidders, be sure to fill in the mapping for the mediatypes concerned.
Bidder rules must be applied at stack level to monetise your site. To do so, navigate through a stack configuration to select the rule you want to use.
Editing a bidder rule already used in stacks will require you to synchronize them.
