Explanation
Monitors GDPR consent status (accepted/refused/not available) by site. Can be used to detect
consent string issues
Every calculation in this study is based on the auctions and bid requests and applies to countries covered by the GDPR.
The consent information we log is the consent information as seen by Prebid at the auction level, which can differ from the optin rate provided by your CPM
Notes: The currency used in the report is the same as the one set up in your Pubstack account.
Consent definition
There are many possible states depending on the vendors and purposes options. In order to simplify the model we classified them into 3 different states:
- "Consent accepted" in the auction, which means at least one purpose or one vendor was accepted by the user.
- "Consent refused" in the auction, which means all purposes and all vendors were refused by the user.
- "Consent not available" which means that Prebid does not have explicit consent information in the call. It can be that no consent string is passed or
that the consent string passed doesn't contain any explicit consent information (consent neither explicitly accepted nor refused)

Next step
- You can verify that the setup is well done in your prebid configuration.
- You can contact your CMP account manager to get an explanation if the percentage of "Consent refused" or "Consent not available" is higher than expected.
