# Ad units

### Overview

An Ad unit item describes the required information to create and manage the inventory to be monetized. Ad units are defined at company level on Pubstack and need to be implemented on your S2S settings. Each ad unit must include a configuration for the pubstack\_server bidder, using the exact ad unit name as declared on the Pubstack platform.
