Unlocking Insights and Optimisation Strategies: A Guide to Pubstack Reports
You can find many reports available in the "Report" section of the Pubstack application. You will find in this article some use cases and best practices to make the most of these reports.
Please note that a "Read Me" section is available in each report, which will help you to better understand the data in the report and how to activate it.
GDPR consent report
Use case:
Unlike your CMP (user based), this report allows an auction-based view of the consent coverage in Prebid. It is a great tool for monitoring the connection between your CMP and your prebid stack.
When to use:
- Initial assessment of your CMP’s performances
- When you update your CMP settings
SSPs Incremental value report
Use case:
This report shows you the unique value brought to your prebid by each bidder, meaning that if you didn’t have a given bidder, you would lose its incremental value.
When to use
- A few weeks after plugging a new bidder to evaluate the uniqueness of its demand
- When assessing the bidders in your stack to rationalize the number of partners
Historical data report
Use case:
Get more data (impressions and revenue) than available in the Pubstack app, up to 30 days since December 2022
When to use:
- When you need to look at data from the past that is no longer available in the platform
Price Bucket report
Use case:
This report helps you to get impression and bid distribution data by website, adUnits, device and/or Bidder.
When to use:
- When you need to look at bid landscape data (like for setting floors for example, or when the behavior of an SSP is suspicious)
Floors report
Use case:
This report helps you to identify the floors enforced by your bidders through their behavior in your Prebid stack. It can also estimate the ad server floor being enforced, if any.
When to use:
- When you update your Prebid Floor Module or Floors in your SSP dashboard, and/or ad server floors (UPRs or others)
0% bid rate report
Use case:
This report helps you identify revenue opportunities by highlighting where bidders are never bidding
When to use:
- Monthly basis (possibly weekly)
- When you implement a new SSP or add new inventory
- When you performed a major update on your stack
Data by URL
Use case:
This report gives you monetization data at URL-level
When to use:
- Specific needs such as traffic acquisition
Adunit & Bidders Homogeneity report
Use case:
This report helps you identify revenue opportunities by highlighting contexts where a bidder is never being called when it could be
When to use:
- When you plug a new bidder or add new inventory
- When you performed a major update on your stack
- A monthly check is recommended
Sizes & Bidders Homogenity report
Use case:
The report helps you to identify revenue opportunities by highlighting contexts where a bidder is never participating in the auction with a given size, while other bidders do.
When to use:
- When you plug a new bidder or add new inventory
- When you performed a major update on your stack
- A monthly check is recommended
ID module report
Use case:
This report helps you to understand the real coverage of your ID solutions, from an auction-based view.
When to use:
- When you plug a new ID solution
- When you update your userSync parameters
Prebid version report
Use case:
The reports help you to see the coverage of each Prebid version on your stack, by site and per hour
When to use:
- Initial assessment
- 24 hours after you updated your prebid version
