Overview
An Ad unit item describes the required information to create and manage the inventory to be monetized. Ad units are defined at company level on Pubstack and need to be implemented on your S2S settings. Each ad unit must include a configuration for the pubstack_server bidder, using the exact ad unit name as declared on the Pubstack platform. More information
Access
Click on the Ad Units tab in the Monetisation Manager menu.
Add ad units
Click on the Ad units button to access tho a menu. You can choose between adding ad units or importing ad units through a csv file.
If you click on Add ad unit a form will appear on your screen.
You can:
- Add one or several ad units.
- Delete one or several ad units.
- Copy/paste ad units from one doc to Pubstack. Please note that spaces between ad units count as a new entry in the form.
- Reset your form and delete all the ad units added.
Import ad units
If you click on Import ad unit an upload zone will appear on your screen. You can either upload your file or download our template file. Please note that only csv files are allowed.
Once your file is uploaded, you have a recap of all the ad units that will be created. Don't forget that if your file is filled with ad units already added on Pubstack, they will not be imported.
You can:
- Import the file uploaded
- Delete the file uploaded
- Download the file uploaded
- Check the ad units you want to add
If you upload a file with more columns than required, or with prohibited characters, an error message will be displayed. You can't add the following characters to your ad units name: ,;:\?<>=""
View ad units informations
You can click on the eye icon or on the row to view the informations of your ad unit.
You will find the ad unit identification and configuration to implement on your S2S file. You can copy the code with the button next to it.
Archive ad units
If an ad unit is no longer used on your sites, you can archive it to clean your inventory. Once archived, the ad unit will be removed from all mapped integrations and stop monetising. Don't forget to re-deploy your stack and remove the code from pbjs.config.
You can archive it at any moment.
